Hi, I’m Nikolaos G. Alexiou
I was born in Athens in 1980 and raised in Rethymno, Crete. My journey into computing started early — back in 1989, when I became the proud owner of what was probably one of the first Amstrad PC1640s with EGA graphics to arrive on the island.
That machine opened the door to a world of computers, games and technology that has stayed with me ever since.
And yes... somewhere in my office I still have the original F-16 Falcon disk — a small relic from where it all began. 🤣

From Junior Dev... to DevOps Director
Starting my career in Crete meant working within a small IT industry, which quickly became an advantage: I took on a wide range of roles across software, systems, networking and infrastructure, building broad experience and learning to look at every problem from different angles, understand the bigger picture and find the right solution. 😎
